PRAYER AND LIFE WORKSHOP
Join us for a Prayer and Life Workshop where you will 1) learn and deepen skills in the art of prayer in 15 weekly sessions of two hours each, and 2) overcome anxieties through healing and reconciliation, acceptance and surrender. This workshop is a transformative experience as you develop a relationship with GOD, establish daily prayer habits of praying with scriptures and over a dozen different prayer methods, get life tools that moves you closer to living like Jesus, and deepen your commitment to the Church. “BE A MAN” Men’s Group
If anyone ever told you being a father was easy, I hope you didn’t laugh too hard. Being a father is tough, and our Be A Man group is going to explore fatherhood with Fr. Dave Pivonka in a series called, “My father’s Father”. Starting Saturday, September 21st, we will begin a journey to discover fatherhood and parenting as Jesus revealed it. We invite all the men of the parish to join us Saturday mornings, 7:00 - 8:30 a.m., at St. Pius Church, in Brantford. Come once or come often to discover fatherhood in God’s way. We invite all men 18 or older to come and learn about Catholic fatherhood, whether you come once or come often.
CATHOLIC WOMEN’S LEAGUE
General Meeting on Thursday, September 12th at 6pm. All women may join us in the Parish Hall. Refreshments will be provided. This month’s donations will be for The Grand River Community Health Centre. This is a place that people in the community can go to take showers and for some personal hygiene maintenance. We ask that you bring travel size products such as shampoos, body wash, soaps, lotions, toothpaste and toothbrushes. They also offer laundry facilities. Thank you in advance.
CWL PIE SALE
St. Mary’s Catholic Women's League will be selling 9 INCH DUTCH APPLE PIE made by the Bun Shoppe Bakery (Brantford). Your order can be taken on September 7/8 & 14/15 after Masses (at the back of the church). Cost: $10.00 CASH payable upon placing your order. Pick up date: Saturday, September 28 after the 5pm Mass & Sunday, September 29 after all Masses in the church hall. Please make other arrangements if you are not available to pick up on those days.
