This is the last post as we are moving to in-person communication. I was delighted with our first COMMUNITY Sunday Holy Mass. Incredible effort of so many people. This is truly a sign of hope. Everyone can surely feel more free outdoor than at indoor liturgy with all the restrictions in place and mandatory reservations that sometimes work, sometimes doesn't work. And no one seems to notice that with a dwindling congregations it is really hard to find volunteers to serve. The outdoor Holy Mass looks like a perfect solution. There is still plenty of space for everyone in our cathedral with a ceiling made of clouds and walls from the Canadian air. Welcome!

Father Raymond de Souza offers another piece of an excellent comment on the subject of the Catholic Church apology for the residential schools in Canada. The Mother and Son's hearts are always together. The day after the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus we commemorate the Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Please pray for our Parish Community as we welcome back parishioners to in-person Holy Mass and start our outdoor Sunday Community Holy Mass. It is something very new for us all, but it is a better option with very limited number of participants allowed indoor, with all the hustle and bustle, reservation, check in and other complications. I believe the outdoor Holy Mass is a better option for now, that gives everyone more freedom, and it is good for the Community to come together after so many days of staying isolated and apart from each other. Please pray for the nice days as we plan to move on sun or rain.

The Indian Residential Schools topic has dominated the media in recent days. Generally, all comments are criticizing the Catholic Church, demanding apology and more cooperation. Cardinal Collins of Toronto answered to those claims, calling them “not fair”. The issue is complex, and it is good to know more facts to understand better the whole context. The collection of these four articles below is intended to help you to see a wider picture.

Carlo Acutis was beatified only a while ago. His biggest spiritual passion was the Holy Eucharist. He not only attended Mass regularly but also committed his free time to creating with friends a website presenting Eucharistic miracles. The Eucharistic miracles are not about healing but about revealing the true nature of this Sacrament. At times God allows people to see that the Eucharist as it truly is, as the "Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity" of our Lord Jesus Christ. Carlo had never witnessed any of these miracles, but he wanted to visit every site where these extraordinary events happened. His life was too short, but he leaves us a legacy, a digital witness that the Eucharist is the greatest of all the miracles we know.
